Description | 1) 1.1) Scope This unit covers the selection of basic commercial refrigeration system equipment and components, pipe work and controls. It encompasses the selection of the refrigerant, condensing unit, evaporator, refrigerant controls, accessories, refrigerant and condensate pipe work, and system controls based on specifications, standards and manufacturer catalogues to determine calculated and deemed-to comply solutions and documenting all selection information. It also includes predicting the refrigeration system's balance point to achieve design conditions. | ||
